He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelard Maillet and Marie Maillet; his siblings, Andrew (Adrien), Sam (Anselme), Steve (Etienne), Gerard and Laura; his wife Grace Agnes Maillet; and his son-in-law Kevin Searle.
He is survived by: his siblings, Alma and Rene; his sister-in-law Donna; his children, Patsy Searle (Brandon), Mary Jane Brownscombe, Renée Maillet (Brandon) and Marcel Maillet of Chilliwack, BC; his grandchildren, Monika Taylor (Michael), Nicholas Searle (Kim), Madison Halford (Graham), Christopher Searle (Ryan), Ramona Maillet, AJ Maillet and Russel Maillet; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Tia, Lyla, Boris, Nora and Stella. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
He also volunteered for many social causes including Alzheimer Society Of Manitoba, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, and Canadian Cancer Society.
