He was predeceased by: his wife Marion; his siblings, Ross, Kent Smyth and Yvonne Breakey; and his parents, Gordon Smyth and Alice Smyth.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Watt (Jim) and Randy Smyth (Lauren); his grandchildren, Jason (Teri), Brad (Heather Parsons), Tyler Watt (Kelsey Popien), Sean (Candice), Kyle Rowan (Ashley), Trevor (Malaika), Taylor Smyth (Machelle), Richie (Taryn) and Rhett Walker (Kaity); his great grandchildren, Ashton, Easton Watt, Sophie Watt, Bridget Watt, Hendricks, Louella, Jones Rowan, Tiernan, Finn Rowan, Audrey, Bennett Smyth, Titus, Isabella Smyth, Briggs Walker, Sutton and Watson Walker; his brother Ray Smyth (Alexis); and his sister-in-law Jean Smyth.
