He was predeceased by: his sons, Richard and John. He is survived by: his wife Corrie; his children, Anthony (Merly), Daniel (Jo), Andrew (Fariba), Lis (Lisa) and David; and his brother Piet (Corrie) of Zwölle. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
