She was predeceased by: her father Tom Bryan. She is survived by: her daughter Lauren Morrison (Jonathan Harding); her granddaughter Bailey Bingham-Morrison; her husband Steve Morrison; her daughter Sarah (Alex Bingham); and her siblings, Ruth Hyde (Glenn), Esther Bryan, Larry Bryan (Cheryl), Danny Bryan (Elaine) and Patrick Bryan (Sandy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Heather's wishes were to support the charity closest to her heart; the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Prairie Mountain Regional Health Centre and/or a contribution to her granddaughter's education trust fund.
