She was predeceased by: her husband Stephen; her brothers, George (Margaret), Walter (Thelma) and Jim (Florence); her siblings-in-law, Ross Thompson (Annie), Norma McLachlan (Norman) and Glenn Harkness; and her children-in-law, Sabina Thompson (Krasicki) and Dave McMillan.

She is survived by: her children, Joanne, Greg, Heather (Malcolm), David (Irene), Dwight (Louanna) and Lois (Rob); and her sister-in-law Jean Harkness. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren along with multiple extended family.

Donations may be made in her name to Trinity United Church, Brandon, Mb.
