With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Lackie of Brandon, Manitoba, born in Manson, Manitoba, who passed away on October 30, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Don Lackie; her daughter Linda; her parent Violet Markey (Babe); her sister Joyce Markey; her in-laws, Edna, Alex Lackie, Isobel, Cliff, Wilfred, Grant, Lori, Margaret and Martha; and her cousin Margaret Bowles (Lloyd) of Elkhorn.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Lackie of Brandon and Brian Lackie of Leduc Alberta; her granddaughters, Cheryl, Melissa and Lauren Lackie of Edmonton; her great grandchild Ethan Lackie; her nephew Brad Graham; her cousins, Sharon Pedlow (Allen), Bev Bowles, Lorrie Bowles, Sally, Delbert Bowles, Gary Bowles, Rodney Bowles and B. C.; and her close friends, John, Phyllis Finlayson, Elsie McNish, Myrna Barabash and Adria Wisman of Calgary.
