The passing of Don Ukrainetz (Brandon, Manitoba), born in Insinger, Saskatchewan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on August 25, 2024 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Ukrainetz and Dora Ukrainetz; his granddaughter Rikki Ukrainetz; and his siblings, Paul, Bob Ukrainetz, May Menzies, Elaine Stebnicki and Johanna Collingridge.

He is survived by: his wife Lillian Tanasychuk; his sons, Darryl (Karen) and Richard Ukrainetz (Denise); his grandsons, Steven Ukrainetz (Carrie), Nicholas Ukrainetz (Jessica) and Curtis Ukrainetz (Rae-Anne); his great grandchildren, Carter, Grayson, Hudson, Rowen and Ensley; his sister Phyllis Ukrainetz; and his sisters-in-law, Irene Tanasychuk, Rose Clark, Marilyn Ravitis and Linda Tanasychuk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
