He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hume and Ivy Hume; his parents-in-law, Joseph and Violet Sinclair; and his brother-in-law Russel Sinclair.

He is survived by: his wife Louise Sinclair; and his daughters, Karen Erickson (Brian), Kathy Hume (Larry Nickel) and Jo-Ann Holt (Tim). He is also survived by six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three brothers and one sister.

Donations in memory of Dennis may be made to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200 – 17th Street East, Brandon, MB R7A 7M6.
