He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Debbie Burton (Chuck), Holly Landry (Marcel) and Dean Poets (Hazel Bergen); his grandchildren, Jennifer Ellement (Drew), Chris Burton, Karlie Chumola (Riley) and Jess Landry (Marty Bayer); his great grandchildren, Henry, George Ellement, Brody, Maisie Chumola and Blake Landry-Bayer; and his adoptive daughter Valentina (Edes).
