He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelina Maria and Salvatore Barcellona; his siblings, Giuseppe Barcellona (Maddelena), Vincenzo Barcellona, Maria Antonia Zimbardo, Gaetana Zimbardo, Anna Birzilleri (Giuseppe) and Rosalia Gibiino (Salvatore); his siblings-in-law, Mario Di Mella, Michele Di Mella, Domenico Di Mella (Melina), Giovanina Parente (Raffaele) and Ada Di Mella; and his parents-in-law, Giuseppe and Francesca Di Mella.
He is survived by: his wife Vanda; his children, Salvatore, Daniel (Leanne), Adelina (Dale) and Castrenze Jr. (Deborah); his grandchildren, Michelina and Cas (Salvatore); his children, Noah, Tessa (Daniel), Stéphane, Amélie (Adelina), Alexia and Antonino (Castrenze Jr); and his siblings-in-law, Wendy Barcellona, Maria-Pia Buonfiglio (Pasquale), Rita DeSantis (Rosario), Carmelina Scolarici (Emmanuele), Maridina Di Mella, Calogero Zimbardo and Gaetano Zimbardo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
