She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Albert and MaryAnne Chambers (Thomson); her spouse Morley Howard Leachman; her sons, Greg (Shannon) and Clark (Tannis); and her grandchildren, Chad (Adrianna), Derek, Graeme, Tara (Perry), Nicholas (Joy) and Jeffrey (Christy). She was also cherished by six great-grandchildren; three sisters; one brother; nieces and nephews.
