It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Alvis (Boissevain, Manitoba), who passed away on October 13, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roy Alvis to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Agnes Alvis; his parents, John Alvis and Nellie Alvis; and his sister Doreen. He is survived by: his sons, Owen (Amy) and Vernon (Alana); his grandchildren, Denise Albrecht (Ryan), Adam Alvis (Krystal), Todd Alvis (Lindsay), Cole Alvis (Jason Goudreau) and Megan Loewen (Jonathan); his great grandchildren, Dylan, Griffin Albrecht, Addison, Cooper Alvis, Audrey, Rachael, Evan Loewen, Merrick Alvis, James and Jordyn Harpell; and his sister-in-law Doreen Alvis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, plus several cousins.
Donations in memory of Roy may be made to the St. Matthew's Anglican Church or to a charity of one's choice.
