He was predeceased by: his wife Katie Engbrecht; his parents, Johann Neufeld and Agatha Neufeld; his granddaughter Ashley Neufeld; and his sisters-in-law, Anne Neufeld, Marlene Neufeld and Leanna Neufeld.
He is survived by: his children, Rick, Frieda (Ron), John (Laurie), Phil (Bev), Ingrid (Shawn) and Herb (Wanda); his close friend Katie; and his siblings, Tina (Fred), Helmut (Lois) and John. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
