He was predeceased by: his parents, Abram Barkman and Helena Barkman of Blumenort, MB.; his children, Walter, Jolyn, Laurie and Dylan; his children-in-law, Dianna and Darrell; and his siblings-in-law, Tina and Alvin.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; and his daughters, Lois and Wendy. He is also survived by friends and relatives.
