She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Welch and Doreen Welch; and her siblings, Heather Foote (Ron) and Brent Welch. She is survived by: her husband Bill LaPierre; her sons, Lance (Cassie), Grant (Cora) and Shane (Deneen); her grandchildren, Zane, Mallory, Brendan, Julia, Chevy and Abbi-Gayle LaPierre; and her nieces and nephews, Rhonda and Chris Foote.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, in memory of Brenda.
