He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Maxwell and Esther Brennan (Nelson); his wife Dolores Brennan; his daughter Shelly; and his grandsons, Drayton, Jeremy and Nolan Brennan.

He is survived by: his sisters, Joyce, Dawn and Sharon; his children, Patrick (Donna), Barbara Brolly (Terry), Max (Sandra) and Frederick (Shelly); his grandchildren, Erin, Shivon, Riley (Kerin), Shane (Brookelyn), Tenielle (Mike), Terrik (Halle), Joel and Cooper; and his great grandchildren, Sophie, Bennett, Lotti and Breck.
