It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Marjorie Lynne Bardwell (Birch River, Manitoba), who passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Moore and Sarah Moore; her husband Frank Gornik; and her siblings, Wilson Moore, Doug Moore, Walter Moore, Peggy Davy, Florence Foster and Dorothy Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Shelly Graham (Laurrie), Donna Schaff (Bud) and Guy Bardwell (Kari); her grandchildren, Tanya Harkin, Brandi Korte (Rick), Nikki Harkin, Jensen Bardwell, Peyton Bardwell and Ryan Bardwell; and her sister Vera McFadyen. She is also survived by brothers- and sisters-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Birch River Legion Hall (217 Drury Ave, Birch River, MB R0L0E0).
