He was predeceased by: his parents, Art and Florence; his mother-in-law Stella Rebeck; his siblings-in-law, Russell Rebeck, Ted Leeder, Steve Hanchuk, Jerry Bruhart and Eileen Bruhart; and also Austin Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Darryl (Cathy), Derek (Chantal) and Karen; his grandchildren, Kyla, Cody, Stella of David James, DJ and Adam; his great grandchild Sapphire; his sister Shirley Anderson (Winnipeg); his nephew Chris Anderson; and his nieces, Desiree Anderson and Kim of Lethbridge, AB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim's memory to a charity of one's choice or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 164; the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or Ronald McDonald House.
