He was predeceased by: his parents, William Zirk and Adella Zirk; his brothers, Merwvn and Clarence; and his nephews, Tom and Jon.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; and his siblings, Lawrence (Jeannette), John (Lynette), Adeline, Rosemarie and Darlene (Eugene). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
