She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Giesbrecht and Mary Giesbrecht. She is survived by: her husband John; her son Doug; her brother Johnny Giesbrecht; her children, Sharon Martens (Robert Hlady) of Calgary and Ken Martens (Wendy) of Brandon; her daughter-in-law Carol Martens of Winnipeg; her grandchildren, Miranda Hickman (Dustin) of Brandon, Michele Poirier of Winnipeg, Chris Martens (Lala) of Toronto and Matthew Martens (Meaghan) of Edmonton; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Caden Poirier and Deaken Hickman; her siblings, Margaret Lamblez of Crystal City, Henry Giesbrecht (Cheryl) of Morden and Jim Giesbrecht (Jackie) of Winkler; and also, Sue and John. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wiebe Funeral Chapel - Morden (1050 Thornhill St, Morden, MB R6M1J9). A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel Cemetery - Morden (1050 Thornhill St, Morden, MB R6M1J9). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Westside Community Church - Morden (831 Thornhill St, Morden, MB R6M1J8).
