He was predeceased by: his parents, Marttii and Eili; his children, Debbie and Marty; and his great grandchild Austin.

He is survived by: his children, Doreen, Brian (Denise), Lori and Howard; his children-in-law, Jerry (Dale) and Lee (Darren); and his brother Paul.
