He was predeceased by: his father Henry Erickson; his stepfather William Jones; his mother Edith Jones; his sister Barbara Edinger; and his brother-in-law Stan Edinger.

He is survived by: his siblings, Linda (Ken Lawrence), Debbie (Blaine Jones), Duane (Lise Jones) and Bradley (Dianna Jones); and his nieces and nephews, Sheryll Garber, Carrie Lawrence, Janet Sandstrom, Jaret Lawrence, Kit Lawrence, Jay Jones, Paige Jones, Jillian Jones, Sam Jones, Cheyenne Jones and De-Shaun Jones. He is also survived by 14 great-nieces and nephews and two great- great-nephews.
