He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Bottrell and Dan Bottrell; his brother Edward Bottrell; his grandparents, Ivy, Harry Bennett, Margaret and Godfrey Bottrell; and his mother-in-law Shirley Hanslip.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his daughters, Michelle (Denis Durand) and Samantha (Jared Simpson); his grandchildren, Tessa, Owen Durand and Simpson; his siblings, Hal (Lil Bottrell), Merle and Heather Bottrell; his aunt Kay Watson; his father-in-law John Hanslip; and his siblings-in-law, Sheila Hanslip and Ken (Anita Hanslip). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
