“Jake and I both had lost our wives. We became close friends almost instantly when we met. We discovered that we lived next door to one another. After that we did many things together: go for walks, go for coffee, go for dinner, even go to the Austin Threshermen's event, the Selkirk Rodeo, the Stonewall Days, etc. Wish the whole extended family and other friends of Jake the grace and peace needed to deal with the grief of losing such a special person.
