She was predeceased by: her parents, Abram Penner and Maria Penner (Reimer); her husband Ronald Plett; her granddaughter Victoria; and her children, Geraldine (John Martens) of Arborg, Lewellyn (Cynthia) of Brandon, Cheryl of Arborg, Myron (Alice) of Eden, Rachel (Garry Klassen) of Arborg, Ruthie (Emest Friesen) of Mountain Rd, Lendra (Harold High) of Ashland, Pennsylvania and Nathan (Elizabeth) of Arborg.

She is survived by: her sisters, Gertie Brandt and Janice Reimer.
