He was predeceased by: his parents, William Derksen and Tina Derksen (Abrams). He is survived by: his wife Verna; and his daughters, Carol Sawatzky (Dave) and Janet Schroeder (Bob). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 sister and 3 brothers.
