She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Schroeder and Marie Schroeder. She is survived by: her husband Albert; and also, Sheila Hildebrand (Colin), Tammy Loewen (Enrique), Tracy Friesen (Geoff) and Kimberly Ramsey. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rita may be made to Altona and District Palliative Care, or to CancerCare Manitoba.
