Lloyd Yurett Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Yurett of Altona, Manitoba, who passed away on May 22, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Yurett and Etta Katherine Yurett (Little); his former wife Elaine Yurett; his brother David Yurett; his brother-in-law Marshall Kinney; and his granddaughter Erica Klassen.

He is survived by: his wife Nettie; his children, Gordon Yurett (Terry), Ken Yurett (Wendy) and Barb Carmichael (Douglas); his stepchildren, Mike Letkeman, Tammy Friesen (James), Deb Klassen (Terry), Carole Tarnick (Shawn) and John Letkeman (Maxine); and his sisters, Linda Mary Fanjoy (George) and Darlene Kinney. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.

Donations in memory of Lloyd may be made to the Pembina Valley Humane Society.
