He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; and his son Ed Bergen. He is survived by: his children, Verna Larkin (Howard), Wes Bergen (Sandy), Leona Knutt (Glen), Ken Bergen (Leigh) and Wayne Bergen (Tracy). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
