She was predeceased by: her husband Cornie Elias; and her brother-in-law Albert Sawatzky. She is survived by: her daughter Rachael; her grandchildren, Sabrina and Charles; her stepchildren, Lynn (Paul), Peter (Jennifer) and Susan (Brian); and her siblings, Leona, Harvey (Barb), Melvin (Linda) and Henk (Jose). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
