She was predeceased by: her husband Jacob J Friesen; her parents, Henry P Zacharias and Mary Zacharias; and her sister Marie. She is survived by: her children, John Friesen (Sharon), Elmer Friesen (Elaine), Bob Friesen (Marilyn), Sherry Seibel (Karl), Carol Rempel (Ed), Harv Friesen (Dawn Marie), Don Friesen (Dorothy), Raymond Friesen and Ray. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 7 sisters and 2 brothers.
Donations in memory of Helen may be made to Altona and District Palliative Care.
