He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Stoesz and Margaret Goertzen (Giesbrecht Stoesz); and his siblings, John Stoesz (Sue), Bill Stoesz (Dorothy) and Helen (Jake Wiebe).
He is survived by: his wife Sara Stoesz (Unger); his brother-in-law Jacob Unger; his children, Donald Stoesz (Naomi Brubacher), Alberta, Dennis Stoesz (Rhoda Lehman), Yvonne Stoesz (Brent Gouthro) and Tinker Creek (Stanley); and his great grandchildren, Matt, Kevin, Justin (Kathleen), Sonya, Jeff (Tamar), Phil, Kory, Ryan (Sara), Kalynn, Miranda, Jared and Mei. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
Donations in his memory may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, an agency of which Dad had a fundamental belief in its work, or to the Canadian Food Grains Bank.
