He was predeceased by: his father David T. Penner; his stepmother Annie Penner; and his brother Larry Penner. He is survived by: his wife Verna; his children, Kristen Penner, Michael Penner (Erica), Jordana Penner and Alyssa Neufeld (Joshua); his siblings, Dorothy Derksen (Dave), Bill Penner (Verna) and Cornie Penner (Colleen); and his sister-in-law Linda Penner.

Covid made this challenging as he would have loved to be surrounded by all his family and friends.
