He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Sawatzky. He is survived by: his children, Leonard Sawatzky (Ella), Elmer Sawatzky (Susan), Ken Sawatzky (Tanya), Shirley Hewlett (Phil), Gord Sawatzky (Val) and Cliff Sawatzky (Corrine). He is also survived by one daughter-in-law, one grandchild, one great grandchild, one sister, and two brothers.
