He was predeceased by: his parents, Justina Friesen and Cornelius Friesen. He is survived by: his wife Edith; his children, Irene Hiebert (Ronn), Barb Neufeld (Jim), Steve Friesen (Belinda) and Kathy Schroeder (Warren); his grandchildren, Scott (Shauna), Carla, Patrick (Artemis), Samuel, Zachary, Simon (Shayanne), Abby and Sydney; his great grandchildren, Rhea, Alice and Greta; and his sisters, Barbara Wiens and Mary Neufeld.
