It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jean Turko of Alonsa, Manitoba, born in Brandon, Manitoba, who passed away at the age of 96, on July 11, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Peltz and Nellie Peltz; her husband Sam Turko of Alonsa; and her siblings, Mary Raymack, Walter and Stan.
She is survived by: her sons, Jack and Danny. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID 19 health & gathering restrictions, a private funeral liturgy was held from St. George's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Alonsa on Thursday, July 15th at 11:00 AM Interment followed in the Gray's Ridge Cemetery, Alonsa, MB Flowers are gratefully declined.
