He is survived by: his wife Lynn Hanson; his daughters, Debbie Russell (Phil) and Cindy Bremner (Murray); and his sisters, Carol Sauve (Dwain) and Shirley Hartford. He is also survived by four grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Williams Lake Fire Department in honor of Don's many years of service.
