He is survived by: his close friend Kit; his sons, Todd Thachuk of California, Mike Thachuk of Aldergrove and J. T. Thachuk (Anya) of White Rock; his grandchildren, Jessica Troxell (Mike), Alexandra Wicks (Luke) of California, Laurel Thachuk, Sophia Thachuk, Max Thachuk, Mike Thachuk and Ryan Thachuk; and his sister Helen Aab (Clarence) of Calgary. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
