She was predeceased by: her children, David R. Gray and Georgina J. Gray Nantel; and her parents, David G. Hall and Phylis Jones Hall Childs. She is survived by: her husband Joseph E. Engels; her siblings, Marlene Hall Falkenberg of Abbotsford, BC and Ronald D. Hall of California, USA; her children, Danny G. Gray (Anita) of Alaska, USA and Darrell K. Gray of Vancouver, BC.; and her stepchildren, Darlene, Denise, Joann and Irene. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren (Christy, Craig, Danny, Darquise, DeeAnna, Holly, Lisa, Mark, Matthew, Nathaniel, Richard, Sarah, Sherry, Terra, and Tiffany); and 18 great-grandchildren; and other extended family.
