She was predeceased by: her father David Taylor. She is survived by: her husband Mike; her son Matt; her mother Pearline Taylor; her sister Margaret Code (Brook Ward); and her sister-in-law Karen Hodd (John).

In memory of Val, also known as Ann, Annie, Anya, in lieu of flowers, she would wish that you 'pay it forward' or donate to your favorite charity instead - this will also help make her boys smile a little more every day.
