He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Tkachuk and Mary Tkachuk; and his sisters, Mary and Vera. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Jean Tkachuk; his children, Douglas (Jennifer Derbyshire), Richard (Jo-Anne Cameron) and Linda (Barry Dalgliesh); his grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Calvin, Elena, Elizabeth and Jacqueline; and his sisters, Janet and Victoria.
