She was predeceased by: her daughter Patricia Syme Gardner (John Adames); and her siblings, William Syme, Andrew Syme and Elizabeth Petrie. She is survived by: her husband William Gardner; her children, Sylvia Gardner (Glen Tugman), Hamish Gardner (Susan) and Christine Banham; and her grandchildren, Christopher Tugman, James Tugman, Andrew Gardner, Kayla Gardner, Caroline Banham and Alex Banham.
