We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2025, Roy Flight of Victoria, British Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Flight and Suzanna Flight; and his close friend Madeline Murphy. He is survived by: his children, Barbarann Griffin (Dennis), Victoria, Cindy Fitzgerald (Ray) of Bryant's Cove and Roy Flight (Tanya); his grandchildren, Kaylee, Mason, Devon, Dawson, Kody, Brandon and Zoe; his siblings, Charles Lloyd Flight, Hazel Thoms (late Frank) of Brampton, ON and Elizabeth Burden (late Gordon); and his close friend Jim Flight (Alma).
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Noel's Funeral Home (106 Water St, Carbonear, NL A1Y1A9). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Noel's Memorial Chapel (106 Water St, Carbonear, NL A1Y1A9).
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Roy Flight Memorial Fund, c/o Noel's Funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9.
