He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Malton and Leonora Malton; and his siblings, James, Reginald Marguerite and Shirley.

He is survived by: his siblings, Arlene Pizzacalla and Richard Malton (Barbara); his brother-in-law Paul DeLuca (Karen); his children, David, Michael, Susan and Sara; his grandchildren, Taylor, Tommy, Sebastian, Allie, Lucas, Davis, Reggie and Harry; and his wife Joanne. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
