She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher Thorbergson and Veda Thorbergson; her significant other Joe; her siblings, Anne (Mike) and Edward (Bud); her brother-in-law Carlos; and her in-laws, Antonio and Maria Braz.

She is survived by: her children, Philip (Mishelle), Kristina (Ricardo) and Steve (Blair); her grandchildren, Mateo, Aryana, Cristiano, Nikolas, Matias, Jensen and Alden; her brother Dennis (Joyce); her sister-in-law Carmen; and her nieces and nephews, Vicki (Derek), Randy, Shannon, Kristopher and Tianna. She is also survived by many family members and friends.

She dedicated her life to caring and helping family and friends and made countless contributions to many different charities.
