It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Norman Bookman in Victoria, British Columbia, who passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverly Bookman; his parents, Sarah Shirley and Benjamin Bookman; and his siblings, William and Leslie (Mayda Cohen).
He is survived by: his child Reesa; his son-in-law Ted Vermeulen; his grandchildren, Tedi and Bogdan Bezna; his great grandchildren, Adina and Eden Bezna; and his brothers, Edward (Sheila Bookman) and Arnold (Molly Cohen). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
