He is survived by: his wife Janet Wallace; his brother John Leffek (Kath) of Holland; and his children, Katharine Duchesne (David) of Victoria and Geoffrey Leffek (Clare) of Edinburgh. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to generous contributions to performing arts foundations, Janet and Ken established scholarships through the Nova Scotia Registered Music Teachers' Association.
