Kathleen A. Higgins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathleen A. Higgins (Victoria, British Columbia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kathleen A. Higgins to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband James J. Higgins; her daughter Mary Higgins; and her brother Jim Beanan (late Charlotte). She is survived by: her children, Dr. James (Mary), Kathleen Scanio, Michael (Robin), John (Lisa), Margaret, Charles, Joseph (Deborah) and Ann; and her siblings, Marty Mummery (late Joe), Larry Beanan (Jan), Charlotte Bender, Dorothy Selby (late Don) and Winky White (late Bruce). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Church (1379 Esquimalt Rd, Victoria, BC V9A3R4).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Buffalo Zoo where Kathleen volunteered as a docent for many years.
