She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Budgell; her parents, Mary Dearing and John Dearing; her brothers, Graham Dearing, Leonard Dearing (Mabel) of Labrador, Benjamin Dearing (Ethel) of Grand Falls and Hunter Dearing of Victoria; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Dearing.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda (Robert Evely) of Topsail and Betty (Doug Winsor) of St. John's; her siblings, Judy (Jack Jones) of St. John's, Leslie Dearing (Mavis) of Ontario and Gerald Dearing (Rose) of Arizona; her sister-in-law Harriet Dearing of Victoria; her grandchildren, Nicole (Allan George), Andrea Evely, Daniella (Billy Halfyard) and Gregory Winsor; her great grandchildren, Emma George, Nicholas George, Emily Halfyard, Sarah Halfyard and Haley Ferguson; and her children, Dr. Laurie, Nadine, Marissa, Justin and Yvonne.
