Though Derek Alexander may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He is survived by: his parents, Alexandra Niebergall (Sandy) and Wayne Niebergall; his daughter Atira Niebergall; and his sister Juliana Vincent. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
